How
much time should I choose and what are my options?
We allow you
to select the number of hours you need for your event, from one
to two hours to our all day package, which includes unlimited
time the day of your event. The all-day package takes the pressure
off you in trying to accomplish all of your plans before the photographer
leaves. Additional hours can be added to all packages the day
of the event.
Do
I get to keep my proofs?
Every package
includes a full set of proofs, a mix of color and black and white
prints. The proofs are 4x5's copyrighted and numbered on the reverse
side, but are yours for the using.
How
much time is needed for group shots?
We recommend
you plan an hour for group shots although it usually doesn't take
that long.
What
is the ratio of posed to candid shots?
We average
about 85% candid with mainly the group shots being the only posed
shots we do. Our goal is to capture your event, without interfering
with it. Most of the time you won't even know we are there.
Do you carry backup equipment?
We carry a
minimum of three cameras, one for color, one for b&w and a
third as a reserve. We also carry extra lenses, film and other
equipment for unexpected situations.
How
long after my wedding will I receive my proofs?
It normally
takes about three weeks to get your proofs back. Albums and reprint
orders are delivered within 90 days of order.

Tradewind
Productions was established in 1997. Certificates and memberships
held through Professional Photographer of America, Society of
Photo Finishing Engineers, National Association of Wedding Professionals,
Canon Pro Services, The Guild of Professional Photographers, Certified
Master Printer.
What
is the difference between a base package and a package with an album?
We offer you
the choice of creating a package that meets your individual needs.
A base package includes the time you select, a full set of proofs
and all expenses for the time(except sales tax). We do not charge
extra for travel. We offer suggestion packages with albums and
other items, but all items can be interchanged to create a package
unique to your event.
What
is your payment policy?
A deposit
of 25% reserves your date. The balance is due the day of your
event. This allows you to choose when to make the payments. Some
couples make payments prior to the event, and others pay the balance
the day of the event, the choice is yours.
What
happens if the photographer is sick or unable to make the wedding?
Tradewind
Productions is a member of the Photographers Guild Emergency list,
and we also have other Studios, we work with in case of such an
event. To date however, we have never needed to use this option.
How
many photographs do you take in a night?
A four hour
package usually runs around two hundred prints and the all-day
package runs around five to six hundred prints.
